Overview
An athletic and educational organization targeting youths from ages 5 to 18. The PAL purpose is to foster and encourage youths to achieve their full educational, social, physical and leadership potential; to develop a spirit of loyalty and faith in American values and traditions; to develop respect, commitment and responsibility toward their community and one another. The picture in the upper right corner is of the Football & Cheerleader Awards Ceremonies.
Supervised Juvenile Activities
We believe by providing these supervised activities for our youths, we will provide alternatives to juvenile crime, drugs, and violence. Our approach will be to offer a wide range of educational and athletic activities including such things as: referee school, computer skills, after school homework, tutoring, FCAT tutoring, boxing, football, track and field, basketball, martial arts, and other activities as available.
10 police officers have volunteered so far to coach and work with youths and the Hepburn Center already provides most of the educational programs.
