Pay Utility Bill Online


Welcome to the City of Hallandale Beach's online Customer Service System.

You can view and pay your City utility bill (with MasterCard, American Express or Visa), and view your utility account activity.

Requirements:

  1. An Internet e-mail account to receive the registration logon information (Please make sure your spam blocker or firewall allows email from HallandaleBeachfl.gov)
  2. Microsoft INTERNET EXPLORER capable of 128-bit encryption to ensure your security (version 6 or later).
  3. Enable TLS 1.0 security (click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab, and scroll down  to the security section to the "Use TLS 1.0" checkbox. Click only the TSL 1.0 checkbox).  This turns on encryption to protect your Personal Credit Information (PCI).

ATTENTION: IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS PAYING WITH A CREDIT CARD PLEASE CALL YOUR BANK (PHONE NUMBER LISTED ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD) AND ASK WHY THEY DECLINED IT.  IF YOU CANNOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, PLEASE PAY YOUR BILL BY AN ALTERNATE METHOD.


ONLINE BILL PAY IS OFFERED STRICTLY AS A CONVENIENCE BY THE CITY TO OUR CUSTOMERS.  IF FOR ANY REASON THE CUSTOMER IS UNSUCCESSFUL OR UNABLE TO REGISTER, SIGN ON, OR TO PAY THE BILL ONLINE, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS WILL NOT EXEMPT THE CUSTOMER'S ACCOUNT FROM INCURRING DELINQUENT PENALTIES AND WILL NOT EXEMPT THE CUSTOMER'S SERVICES FROM BEING SUBJECT TO TERMINATION.  IT REMAINS THE CUSTOMERS SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE THAT PAYMENTS ARE MADE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

NOTE:
Accounts with previous balances are subject to services being terminated. Online bill pay may not display previous balances accurately. Please consult your mailed utility bill or call 954-457-1360 for further inquiries.

*ONCE TERMINATION PROCEDURES ARE INITIATED, THE OUTSTANDING BALANCE PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $40 SERVICE CHARGE MUST BE PAID TO REINSTATE SERVICE OR STOP TERMINATION PROCEDURES.
   
Account holders of disconnected accounts or accounts subject to termination should call Customer Service @ 954 457 1360.  Paying online will delay water reconnection for at least 48 hours.

To view your account or pay online with MasterCard or Visa you will need to register first.

REGISTER TO PAY ONLINE:

  1. Click the "Click here to Register" below.
  2. From the Customer Information System screen, click Create PIN.
  3. Enter your Utility Account Number and Cycle Number, exactly as it is printed on your bill.
  4. Click the submit button and you will be asked to create a PIN number, a PIN hint, and to enter your email address.
  5. Click submit and an email with your PIN will be sent to the email address you entered. Please be sure to save this e-mail confirmation for future reference.
  6. The link contained in the email will direct you to the Sign-On screen where you will enter your utility account number and PIN. Click "Sign-On".
  7. Once you have successfully signed on, you will be asked to confirm your new PIN.  Now you can access and view your utility account.

What are the benefits?

Internet access improves customer service by giving you, the customer, online access to your account information any time of the day or night, seven days a week from the convenience of your home or office. Ability to access your Utility Account information whenever you want: 

  • Payment history - View your account's payment history, including pending payments.
  •  Customer account information - View account information, account status and balance, last bill sent, and last payment received. 
  • Consumption summary information - Display your account's consumption summary information for each meter, including last reading, average daily usage, and period usage.
  •  Consumption summary graphs - Generate your account's consumption graphs for the last three years. 
  • Customer billing history - View your account's service summary information, including the service status, the start and stop dates, and the average charge based on the previous 12 months. 
  • Service summary graphs - Display in graph format your account's last twelve billing amounts. 
  • Customer billing statement - View your account's customer billing statement that provides a detailed reading and charges for a specific bill.
