Parks and Recreation Rental Facilities
Looking for a place to host a party, family get-together or baseball game? The City of Hallandale Beach Parks and Recreation Department offers indoor and outdoor rental facilities at several of our parks. Rental facilities, fees and policies are detailed below. Making a Reservation
• Reservations for facilities owned and/or operated by the City of Hallandale Beach Parks and Recreation Department
are accepted Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Reservations must be made by an adult, 21 years of age or
older, and are only accepted at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office located in the Hallandale Beach
Cultural Community Center, 410 SE 3rd Street.
• Rental hours are contiguous and cannot be split.
• No facility reservation will be accepted with less than a seven (7) day notice.
• Two proofs of residency are required for anyone seeking resident rates. Acceptable forms of identification include a
current utility bill (no older than 30 days), driver’s license or picture ID. Fraudulent representation of residency
status can result in cancellation of the rental.
• The individual making the facility reservation must be in attendance at the facility for the duration of the rental. This
individual's name must also match the name of the individual who signs the “After Party Check List”. Discrepancies
may result in the renter’s forfeiture of deposit.
• All non-profit organizations must provide proof of current status including a recent copy of IRS Form 990 and/or
Charitable Organization Certificate.
• Any outstanding debts with the City of Hallandale Beach, or violations of City policies during a previous rental will
result in denial of usage of any facility.
• The Facility & Usage Rate Chart is the fee structure used for rental of facilities owned and/or operated by the
Hallandale Beach Parks and Recreation Department. Rental fees are based upon the current fee manual approved
by the City Commission during the yearly budget process.
• The deposit fee is due at the time the reservation is made. Full payment of all additional rental fees is due 30 days
from the date the reservation is made. Reservation requests made with less than a 90 days notice of the date of the
event must pay all fees in cash or credit card (Master Card or Visa) at the time the reservation is made.
• All rates are based upon an operating period beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 9:00 pm (12:00 midnight at the
Cultural Community Center ). Rental hours are contiguous and cannot be split.
• If paying by check, the name on the check must match the name on the facility rental contract.
• Checks are made payable to: City of Hallandale Beach.
• Rehearsals, set-up and clean-up times are charged at the regular hourly rate.
• No subcontracting of any permit is allowed. Subcontracting will result in immediate revocation of the renter’s contract.
