Overview
In order to ensure an optimal experience for its Employees, the City of Hallandale Beach’s Human Resources Department is responsible for maintaining a competent and motivated work force through:

·       Defining job qualifications

·       Developing and managing recruitment and personnel testing programs

·       Maintaining and improving the staffing process

Services
The Department also coordinates and maintains records for all employees benefit programs, including:

•  Dental

•  Life Insurance

•  Disability Insurance

•  IRS Pre-Tax Deductions

•  Deferred Compensation and Pension Plans

The Human Resources Department offers health and wellness programs, an employee support and assistance program, and discount cards for various attractions.

The Human Resources Department administers and enforces policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the City complies with all Federal, State, and Local employment regulations.
