Trash Removal Services
Household GarbageHousehold garbage and bulk trash are collected separately and on different schedules. Household garbage is collected weekly while bulk trash is collected monthly.

Holiday Collection Schedule
Residential Electronic Recycling/Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
Effective June 23 the City’s Electronic Recycling and Residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop-Off program will no longer take place on a weekly basis. It will be a quarterly program. Residents may drop off their HHW Electronic Recycling at the facility located at 630 NW 2nd Street, during the following dates from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm:
- Saturday September 7, 2019
- Saturday December 7, 2019
- Saturday March 7, 2020
- Saturday June 6, 2020
Bulk TrashResidents no longer need to call the City's Sanitation Division to have their Bulk Trash & Yard Waste picked-up. This service is now being offered monthly. Each section is scheduled for collection during one week of the month as follows:
- Week 1 - Southwest Section
- Week 2 - Southeast Section
- Week 3 - Northwest Section
- Week 4 - Northeast Section
Residents must have debris placed in the swale by 7:00AM on Monday. Once the truck goes up and down the street it will not return until the next scheduled collection week. Sanitation will coordinate with Code Compliance once a section is completed and issue citation for violations.

Common items placed in recycling bins that are NOT recyclable include:
- Trash bags or plastic bags
- Wood or construction debris
- Dirty food containers

Once you have the police report number, please call (954) 457-1616 to have the illegally dumped items removed.
