Title VI Act
The City of Hallandale Beach is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participating in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance, on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or family or religious status, consistent with the Title VI Civic Rights Act of 1964; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; Age Discrimination Act of 1975; Section 324 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1973; Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987; and the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992. As such, the City of Hallandale Beach has adopted its Title VI Program Plan on April 1, 2021. The Program Plan details policies and procedures, including key contacts, for ensuring Title VI compliance.

Title VI Complaint Procedure
Any person who believes he or she has been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin by the City of Hallandale Beach may file a Title VI complaint by completing and submitting the agency’s Title VI Complaint Form. Complaints can also be submitted by phone or email to the following:
