IF YOU ARE NOT THE VIOLATOR or THE VEHICLE IS NOT OWNED BY YOU

If you are not the owner of the vehicle listed in the parking violation or you were not the operator of the vehicle at the time of the violation, you can avoid the required “in person” court appearance by completing the Parking Violation Identify Affidavit which can be purchased from the Clerk’s website and must be sent to the division before the ten (10) business day due date of the violation.

NO OPTION TAKEN BY VIOLATOR

If you do nothing within 10 days of the date the parking violation was issued, your vehicle tag will be flagged and the Department of Motor Vehicles may not permit you to register your car until all parking fines and late fees are paid in full. If you do not appear at your scheduled court date, and/or do not provide any evidence in writing, the Hearing Officer/Magistrate will hold your citation/case in absentia. You will then be informed of their decision by mail.
