Declaration of State of Emergency
The City of Hallandale Beach has declared a state of local emergency as a precautionary measure to enable City Administration to take all necessary measures to protect the health and public safety of Hallandale Beach residents due to the coronavirus. Specifically, this step will facilitate the city's access to emergency funding available from the State of Florida. All-City services continue normal operations. City facility common areas are being deep cleaned at least four times a day. Deep cleaning services target all touch areas including knobs, handles, counters, elevator buttons, and anything that individuals may touch.
While there are no confirmed cases in the City, the emergency declaration allows City Administration to proceed with all mitigation, prevention, and awareness efforts required to further avert impact from the Corona Virus COVID19 outbreak in Broward County. Our top priority is to make sure our Hallandale Beach residents are safe, clean, and informed.
