Memorial Day 2020

This year will be different, but no less impactful, as we join together virtually to honor our nation's fallen.

We invite our residents to join with wear blue: run to remember to honor fallen service members and their families' sacrifice. In partnership with Team Red White and Blue, the goal is to have all 7,026 service members, who have died since September 11, 2001, to be memorialized by having their name read aloud somewhere in the world, and through active, purposeful steps of a run or walk.

We encourage you to run or walk, maintaining your social distancing, wherever you feel comfortable in your neighborhood or just outside your door. Register today and you will be given the name and story of a fallen hero. Print out the bib with the hero's name to wear on Memorial Day. Speak your hero’s name on Memorial Day, using your purposeful steps as a living memorial for the fallen.

Register today at https://www.wearblueruntoremember.org/memorial-day
