HURRICANE ISAIAS & FLOOD RISK CONCERNS The City of Hallandale Beach continues to monitor Hurricane Isaias by following the National Hurricane Center (NHC) for latest storm information, and partnering with Broward County and State Emergency Management Divisions. Isaias is forecasted to be a powerful storm as it approaches the Florida peninsula Saturday through Monday morning. Governor Ron DeSantis has issued Executive Order 20-181, declaring a State of Emergency for specific counties throughout Florida, including Broward County. According to Broward County, based on storm projections, there is currently no anticipation of a storm surge, which means that there are currently no evacuation orders. However, the risk of destructive winds and significant flooding remains, even if the storm primarily remains off shore. Here are a few updates: CITY EMERGENCY OPERATIONSThe City of Hallandale Beach has issued a Declaration of a State of Emergency
