Emergency Food Assistance Funds are available to assist Broward County Residents who have been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

If you experienced job loss or reduction of work hours due to COVID-19 or if you have been physically impacted with a positive test or hospitalize with COVID-19 you may qualify for food and a food voucher.  

The following documentation will be required to qualify for assistance:  

  • Government Issued Photo ID and proof of current Broward County residency
AND
  • Proof of loss of income due to the COVID-19 Pandemic or Proof of unemployment benefits or pending application unemployment benefits
OR
  • Positive COVID-19 test and/or proof of doctor’s clearance for COVID-19.

Access the State of Florida COVID-19 Vaccine Pre-registration System to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

Eligible individuals can register for vaccine appointments online at myvaccine.fl.gov. or by calling 866-201-6313 (TTY 833-476-1526). Eligible individuals who register will be contacted when an appointment is available for them.

Individuals 50+ are currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  
Beginning Monday, March 29, all individuals age 40+ will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
Beginning Monday, April 5, all individuals age 18+ will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
