Hurricane Relief for the Bahamas
The Bahama Islands took a direct hit from Hurricane Dorian causing catastrophic damage across the islands.
Our friends at Rotary District 6990 have secured a 181-foot ship and have begun the efforts to fill four (4) 20-foot containers with needed supplies to aid in the Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts. The City will be assisting local Rotary Clubs in collecting items and packing them for the first shipment by this weekend.
Donations are now being accepted online at www.rotary6990.org
or you can donate items. A list of suggested supplies is available at www.rotary6990.org.Currently, items are being collected at the Cultural Community Center, Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm starting Wednesday September 4th
