Join this month's Green Initiatives Litter Clean-Up!

Come join City staff and volunteers to pick up litter in the Northeast part of the City!

When? Sunday October 6th from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. 

Where? Meet at Scavo Park (900 Three Islands Blvd). We will be cleaning up Atlantic Shores Blvd and NE 14th Ave.

How? Buckets, bags, gloves, pick sticks, and reef safe sunscreen will be provided. Please make sure to wear closed toed shoes, bring water (ideally in a reusable bottle), and wear sun-protection like hats and long sleeves.

Why? Street clean-ups are just as important as beach clean-ups. Litter in our streets eventually washes out to sea through our stormwater system. This litter harms wildlife and pollutes our oceans. Lets work together as a community to reduce our impact and beautify the City- all at once!

Parking will be free for volunteers during this event.
