South City Beach Park is the third completed park of the City Wide Parks Master Plan. Opened on March 1, 2015, the renovated park features beach access, parking, restrooms, outdoor showers, open air pavilion, two bocce courts, playground, sand volleyball court, and Cafe Cita on the Beach, a full service beachfront concession open daily from 7:30am to Sunset and serving omelets, pizza, hot dogs, coffee, beer, wine, and more!

Pedestrian beach access is also available at our Four Beach Accesses.

The beach is open 365 days a year.  Summer protected hours are 9:00am - 6:00pm April through August.  Winter protected hours are 9:30am - 5:00pm September to April.

Beachfront Parking is available by Annual Resident Pass, pay by meter or our pay-by-phone app.  Meters are strictly enforced.
